Job Description

Lucas Group has partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Newnan area for a Quality Engineer.

Designs and implements complex processes, procedures, and methodologies to meet customer expectations. Primary interface with customers for quality, improvements and corrective actions

Initiate and implement Quality processes and documentations with cross functional teams

Drive lean manufacturing initiatives

Additional Skills:

  1. Perform complex root cause analysis by applying advance Quality Tools and testing methodologies
  2. Track, analyze, and interpret quality data
  3. Enlists management support, when necessary, to provide resources for resolution of “red” items in production, quality and design
  4. Lead Quality Engineer or Technicians
  5. Prepare records, charts, graphs and other statistical information used for quality assurance
  6. Develop and implement APQP documents for new and existing products
  7. Develop verification and validation specifications or requirements for projects that are related to quality and ensure that those requirements are consistently met
  8. Create and implement quality methods and criteria needed to continue monitoring and validating product reliabilities and performances

Qualifications:

• Minimum seven years of experience in a manufacturing and quality environments

• Four-year college degree preferable in Electronic /Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Disciplines

• Specific experiences in Consumers, medical, or automotive industries preferred

Travel Required:

Less than 25%
