Our client is a global company headquartered in Colorado. They have over 10,000 employees worldwide. We are partnering with them to identify an Accounting Manager.

Job Description:

Accounting Manager will lead the General Ledger close and partner with all levels of the business. This includes but is not limited to reconciliation reviews and working with the finance team on analysis.  In addition this person will train and educate employees on day to day functional responsibilities. Set and communicate direction for team in order to deliver results in line with strategic goals. Research and inform team on regulatory issues. Identify and raise any risks and exposures to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
  • Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
  • Accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium-sized team or multiple small teams
  • Exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment and discipline and other personnel actions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
  • Need strong leadership skills and adaptability
  • CPA and Big 4 desired
