Job Description

Our client, an international medical device manufacturer, is seeking to add an attorney to their growing team.



Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of legal experience
  • Admitted to at least one state bar
  • Law degree from accredited legal program and member of the bar in at least one state


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a substantial contract workload with hospitals, IDNs, GPOs, suppliers, contractors, distributors, service providers, software companies, etc.
  • Draft, review and negotiate sales and service agreements, non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements and consultant agreements
  • Assist in the management of contract documentation flow, approvals and reporting consistent with internal processes
  • Identify potential liability related to business practices, policies and compliance risk
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
  • Work with the Compliance Department to uncover and resolve compliance-related issues
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as required
  • Responsible for identifying training requirements and training completion for direct reports
