Job Description

The Lucas Group is searching for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Director of B2C Sales for our client’s B2B SaaS products and services team in the D.C. metro-area.  You will join a passionate and talented team of experts working tirelessly to make truth, trust, and safety accessible to every man, woman, and child on Earth via our network of intelligence analysts and licensed investigators.

As Director of B2C Sales, your primary responsibility is to ensure we meet or exceed our client’s revenue growth goals month over month and year over year. Your additional responsibilities include building and managing a world class sales team, optimizing sales processes company-wide, and perpetually optimizing pricing / packaging / value props. Communication and team management skills are also essential. Ultimately, you will scale the B2C sales team and operations to drive exponential recurring revenue growth via the sale of our on-demand intelligence and investigation services.

RESPONSIBILITIES


• Meet or exceed our revenue growth goals month over month and year over year

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies

• Lead your sales team members to achieve sales targets

• Manage and improve the Predictable Revenue methodology used by our SMB team

• Establish an Enterprise team

• Adjust pricing and ideal customer profiles on the fly based on real-time data

• Negotiate and close agreements with large customers

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

• Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with our customers’ needs

• Liaise with departmental leadership to ensure brand consistency across the entire company

• Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required. MBA is a plus.
  • Must have a proven portfolio of SaaS sales with 20M+ in annual recurring revenue
  • 8+ years demonstrated senior level SaaS sales leadership experience
  • Prior experience with private sector SaaS technology companies
  • Prior experience selling into the political, financial, legal, collections, security or risk industries (or another industry representing a likely purchaser of our client’s products and services)
  • Proven work experience as a Director of Sales or equivalent
  • Experience successfully building, managing and scaling a high performance SaaS, intelligence, collections, risk sales team (private sector)
  • Proficient with CRM software
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
