Our client, a leader in luxury and hospitality is looking to bring on a Finance Manager to join their expanding team. This positions responsibilities include directing the day-to-day operations of the accounting staff and ensuring that a well-trained and productive staff is maintained. This position will ensure the timeliness, consistency, and accuracy of the accounting functions and financial reporting while providing assistance to the Director of Finance.

Finance Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Approach all encounters with associates and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and
    service-oriented manner.
  • Prepare or direct all financial reports in accordance with standards while meeting various due dates
    and deadlines.
  • Monitor revenues and expenses and ensure the accurate recording in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance to all regulatory licenses and permits, legal agreements, and the proper execution of all operational taxes.
  • Hire, train, supervise and develop staff, including coaching, counseling and discipline.
  • Focus on training and development programs for the Accounting associates to
    cultivate the best talent within the industry.
  • Continually work on a defined development plan, which will prepare the company for
    expanded responsibility within the organization.
  • Ensure that all balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliation’s are properly reconciled on
    a timely basis.

Finance Manager Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree with an Accounting/Finance concentration
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Accounting
  • 2+ years of related progressive experience
  • Long hours sometimes required.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
