Job Description

Out client is an innovative leader in the food industry.  They continue to experience year-over-year growth and recently invested in a new production facility in northwest Indiana.  We are exclusively partnering with them in their search for their next Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of food safety programs at a level necessary to receive and maintain SQF certification while ensuring alignment with company objectives and adherence to regulations published by the FDA and other regulatory agencies.  In addition to food safety, objectives the Quality Manager will implement and maintain a Total Quality Management plan for our operation and obtain/maintain identity preserved certifications.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ of quality leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in an SQF certified facility
  • GMPs and SSOPs required for Safe Quality Food Production
  • GFSI audit experience & 3rd Party audit experience
  • Certified HACCP Manager and/or SQF Practitioner preferred
  • Experience with product development and commercialization
  • Strong technical skills including food safety/TQM software
