Job Description

Lucas Group has been engaged on a search for a well-rounded HR Manager with a background in labor relations for a Fortune 500 client.  This is an exciting opportunity to set the labor relations strategy for the organization’s flagship site, with an ability to progress within the organization in the future.  The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of progressive experience as a well-rounded generalist within a large, fast-paced organization, with 3+ years in labor relations and union negotiation experience.  This role is relocation-eligible.



Qualifications:

  • Future ability to relocate for progressive opportunities


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources or similar field of study
  • Master’s preferred


Experience Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in progressive HR generalist roles; at least 3 years supporting a union population
  • Collective bargaining experience
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all employee and labor relations initiatives for the site to include union negotiations, arbitration and grievances, and coaching/training employees to foster a positive employee environment
  • Lead employee engagement and performance management activities
  • Continue development of a team of HR employees
