Our client is a family owned organization that provides custom engineered solutions for a variety of industries including oil & gas, military, marine, and off-highway vehicles and they have been in business for over 100 years. We are partnering with them on a brand new Inventory Control Manager opening to work out of their corporate HQ in southeastern Wisconsin.

The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for creating efficient processes to help with their material flow. We are seeking someone who can help them bring in more technology to their inventory department. This is a brand new role for the company so any previous experience integrating a corporate inventory program would be beneficial. The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for management of several employees and will report directly to the GM.

Education Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
  • CPIM, CSCP, or other relevant certification is preferred but not required.
  • At least 7 years of Materials, Procurement, Planning, and Inventory Control related experience is required.
  • Previous experience with an ERP or MRP system like JDE, SAP, Bond, Oracle or any other relevant software is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all inventory levels and maintain accuracy with inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by investigating any discrepancies between system records and actual inventory.
  • Develop and maintain the reporting systems.
  • Recommend and implement all process improvements and changes involving all inventory.
  • Partner with other departments within the site to build relationships and get external department buy in for new processes and procedures.
  • Continually identify new ways to improve inventory control and accuracy.
