The Lucas Group is searching for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to add as a key member of our client’s team in Melbourne, FL. Our client is deeply rooted in the public safety and communications equipment industry.

The Marketing Manager will conceptualizes and provide a global marketing solution involving all things marketing and will be responsible for coordination of the preparation and procurement of marketing materials required for advertising and the promotion of company products, including social media, website and graphic management/design, corporate branding, budgeting, promotions, market analytic, events, advertising, and the solicitation and management of third party agencies.


  • Works with and coordinates the marketing initiative with appropriate sales or representatives to discuss communication needs within their territories/agencies.
  • Reviews literature in the assigned marketing project, previous marketing materials used in the assignment area, and gathers materials on competitive products in the field.
  • Researches, writes, and consults with printing firm representatives on the needs of the particular project.  May also undertake specific studies and investigations in support of advertising and marketing efforts and produces required reports, summaries, and presents recommendations to management.
  • Overviews editing to assure quality production in line with parameters of the assignment.
  • Attends Product Shows at exhibits and arranges for necessary aids.
  • May develop and coordinate multimedia package-letters, brochures, video, and displays for particular assignments.
  • Working from preliminary specifications, arranges for samples of proposed artwork, receives final proofs, obtains final approvals, and arranges for procurement of promotional materials.  Also responsible for providing artwork for specific products. 
  • Acts as web site coordinator, which includes creation and updates.


• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or a related field is required. • 3+ years of experience in marketing communications is required. • 3+ years of experience in meeting and event planning is required • 1+ years of experience in excellent computer/desktop publishing skills a must. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is required. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Good analytical skills. • Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines either independently and as part of a team.
