Job Description

Lucas Group is working with a company with more than 50 years of experience and multiple locations throughout the U.S. that manufactures fiberglass underground and steel aboveground long-term storage tanks.

‘Home Office’ Position – Live in the Sacramento / Bay Area

Sales Territory:  Northern CA, CO, OR, WA, ID, MT, UT, WY).



Education Requirements:

  • BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in professional and technical sales working with Engineers, Architects and Owners.


Experience Requirements:

  • Knowledge in the water and / or downstream petroleum industry
  • General understanding of how environmental regulations are enforced in the petroleum and water markets
  • Sales of large fiberglass and steel storage products which hold Petroleum, Water, Chemical, Wastewater.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish new, and maintain relationships with customers
  • Service existing accounts, establish new accounts, maximize customer satisfaction and managing network of independent sales agents. Provide technical assistance
  • Frequent personal contact and entertain customer’s upper-level management
  • Develop and present proposals
  • Provide technical guidance and sales support
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets for territory
  • Assist in developing market and pricing strategy
  • Assist in preparing job specifications and in making presentations to various industrial, governmental and code officials
