As part of an experienced, well-structured, and organized team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, revising, and filing documents in pending patent applications at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including patent applications, information disclosure statements, requests for certificates of correction, and other filings.
  • Drafting, revising, and filing petitions, motions, and other documents in litigation proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board; maintaining dockets and internal files for those litigation proceedings.
  • Communicating with clients and vendors to maintain strong client relationships and support the firm’s litigation and patent prosecution practices.
  • Conduct strategic legal and market research for attorneys.


Job Requirements

The firm is known for looking at the ‘entire package’ of what a candidate brings to the table.  Tangible requirements are:

  • 2+ years of Patent Prosecution experience
  • Four-year degree preferred
  • Paralegal certificate is a plus
