Lucas Group is partnered with a global water treatment and testing company who is looking to bring on an experienced Planning & Logistics Manager to their Denver, CO location.

The manufacturing division in Denver assembles instruments used by the medical community that measure the quality of water used by pharmaceutical and medical device companies across the world.

This individual will be responsible for the management of the planning cycle and leading the company’s planning, logistics, and shipping and receiving operations. We are looking for a collaborative and assertive leader who has a passion for identifying and nurturing talent within their group of direct reports. In addition to development skills, working well in an open team environment and fast paced setting will also be integral to success in this role.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of management experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience overseeing production schedules for supply and manufacturing sources to insure inventory levels are met
  • Analyzing demand and supply data to uncover trends and proposing actions and plans to improve processes
  • Implementation of Continuous Improvement and Lean principles


Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development of team members ensuring positive and effective cooperation with all team members involved to ensure we are maintaining efficient production levels and on-time delivery to our customers.
  •  Lead the sales and operations planning process on a monthly cycle.
  •  Monitor operational performance against agreed plans, identify capacity variances, and insure effective utilization and delivery of capacity
  •  Interface with manufacturing and quality to track the flow of product through the respective departments
