SALES MANAGER (Individual Contributor Role)

Seattle, WA based

Summary:

  • One of the largest construction materials companies in North America seeks a ‘Territory Sales Rep’ for Seattle and surrounding territory
  • Responsible for the sales and marketing of cement, aggregates, ready mixed concrete, asphalt and other building materials

  • Provide leadership for promotion, customer service and technical support for area construction utilizing cement based products
  • 90% Account Management / 10% Hunt for new business

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, programs, budgets and strategies
  • Provide technical assistance to customers
  • Compile market intelligence and identify potential projects
  • Review and recommend product pricing, market placement and new product launches
  • Deliver effective presentations
  • Strengthen and grow existing customer relationships

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferable combined with a strong sales ability
  • Strategic planning, customer service, distribution, general construction and oil field knowledge
  • Technical knowledge of cement products is an asset
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and networking skills
