Lucas Group has partnered with a nonprofit healthcare organization founded in 1948. They are one of the ten largest nonprofit providers of home healthcare and hospice services, providing care at home and in their hospice facility. The mission of its 700+ employees is to improve the lives of the more than patients and their families served each day.



Experience Requirements:

  • Five (5) or more years of recruiting and onboarding healthcare professionals, to include Registered Nurses and Physical Therapists.
  • Prior recruitment experience in the Home Health industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and using various methods to source and locate candidates in an extremely competitive market.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a metrics driven environment.  Metrics include:  Time to Fill, 90 Days Retention and Customer Satisfaction
  • Personal approach to recruiting – this is not a role, nor a company, where you operate by email.  Weekly meetings, in-person relationship building and internal partnerships are vital for success.
  • Experience with Paychex, Ceridian and UltiPro systems will be beneficial
  • Hands on approach to recruiting that does not simply post to the web and wait for applicants to come.  Must be willing to make calls, meet people and be tenacious in their efforts to source the right candidates.


Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Recruiter is the key Talent Acquisition professional tasked with bringing Registered Nurses (RN) to the organization who have experience with Acute Care, Medical Surgical Services, Wound Care and Hi Tech or IV services.
  • This role will require creative approaches in attracting the top nurses to VNHS in a very competitive healthcare market.
  • They will accomplish this goal with the assistance of at least one (1) junior recruiter, one (1) HR Assistant with a potential of another recruiter soon to be added.
