Job Description

Summary

The Vice President of Tax will oversee and lead the Company’s 20+ tax team.  Oversight for Tax compliance within a REIT structure as well as income tax and property tax administration. Work closely with senior financial, legal and other corporate teams.

Access to the entire senior leadership team, including the CEO. Responsible for leading a  dynamic and strong tax team as well as significant involvement in M&A projects.

Skills and Qualifications

Success in this role will require:

  • Persuasive, collaborative, gains consensus
  • Managing relationships with Tax authorities
  • Demonstrated leadership and building a team
  • Technical knowledge with complex tax issues, deep knowledge of REITS and related disclosures
  • Experience with IRS Tax Code, and multi-state tax issues
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA or JD strongly preferred
  • 15 or more years of tax experience in the areas described above.
